Hydraulic Project Manager ( ref. 1PRG2018 )
Area: Technical Area - R&D, Design, Technical Office
The candidate will be part of Walvoil R&D Team, specifically dedicated to Hydraulic Control Systems.
He/She will be focused on and involved in design, testing activity and tuning of hydraulic components on customers’ vehicles.

Experience and Profile required:
  • Not older than 35 years;
  • (A) Technical graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics;
  • At least two years of previous experience in a similar role in companies preferably of mechanical and hydraulic sectors;
  • English proficiency;
  • Good knowledge of main tools for Computer Aided Engineering (3D CAD, FEM, CFD, Simulation Lumped);
  • Autonomous, dynamic, spirit of initiative, problem solving attitude, ability to develop positive relationships, to work in team and to grant collaboration.

Junior Embedded Systems Engineer ( ref. 1ELE2019 )
Area: Technical Area - R&D, Design, Technical Office
We are looking for a junior Embedded Systems Engineer with a strong desire to become a fully experienced professional in multidisciplinary product development.

He/She will be focused and involved in: design, development and testing of electronic products to the highest standards of reliability, security and safety. 
He/she will collaborate with the Hydraulic Design team in the creation of innovative products and systems and will support the integration of Walvoil components into customer applications.

Experience and profile
The position requires skills in hardware and software, and interactions with mechanics and hydraulics. These abilities will be developed through careful on-the-job training and continuous education.

Essential Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering;
  • Basic knowledge of digital electronic design;
  • Strong interest in developing his/her skills in hardware and software;
  • Team attitude with innate curiosity for “how things work”;
  • Availability for occasional international travels;
  • Good communication in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of network communication protocols (e.g. CAN Bus, TCP/IP);
  • Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems principles;
  • Knowledge of FMEA and problem solving tools;
  • Experience with The Mathworks toolchain: MATLAB / Simulink / Stateflow;
  • Familiarity with project management tools and PMI Body of Knowledge.
