Under the title “An innovative Techtronic control system for mini-excavators of high controllability and energetic efficiency”, the project, to which the Ministry has attributed number DM28576, involves both Regional Universities and Laboratories and private companies for the development of a Training project.
A clear example of how Universities and industries can implement real innovation synergies to face the new global and very competitive markets.
In the frame of this project, Walvoil (valves/servo-commands), Casappa (pumps) and Comer Industries (engines), national and international market leaders in their respective sectors, pooled together for the design and construction of an integrated mechatronic control system for mini-excavators with a special attention to the very topical problem of energy savings, safety and comfort.
The training activity has been leading to the research and the selection of 9 engineers and surveyors who will be admitted to a training course on
a special grant programme, published on February, 15th and expiring on March, 17th, 2008.
