Walvoil, now one only company

From January 1st 2009, Oleostar, Oleoplus and Valvoil Group together as WALVOIL SPA.

The beginning of 2009 has signed the merger among Oleostar Spa, Oleoplus Srl and Walvoil Spa, already part of Valvoil Group from 2005, into a single company: WALVOIL.
Walvoil, with a consolidated turnover of 124.4 mil. Euros in 2008 and more than 1,000 employees, confirms itself as a leading global manufacturer of hydraulic valves and complete mechatronic systems designed for mobile equipment. This merger, allowing product and process synergies, has strengthened the company, now better able to face the challenges of constantly-evolving markets in a continually-changing world. This merger witnesses also you need constantly evolving, evaluating talents and people, to grow. This is the philosophy Ivano Corghi, Ceo of the company, has shared with all the employees on the occasion of the traditional end of the year meeting, while introducing the merger, the activity of foreign branches and the company’s expansion plans.

"Our export share of 70% confirms our capability to face and to compete on global markets", Mr Corghi says. "And we do it keeping on investing beginning from Reggio Emilia, where our headquarters are located, in spite of this difficult moment for our economy. The new plant in Bibbiano, that has being built and that will host our new logistic and production pole, means we want to keep on evolving and on growing." The new plant, on a surface of 15,000 sq.m. and ready in summer 2009, will be one of the ‘new’ Walvoil first ‘physical’ signs.
