Industriamoci 2011, second edition, released on November 23rd

This year, Walvoil has once again opened its doors to "Industriamoci": an initiative promoted by "Confindustria nazionale" during the business-culture week.
The project is aimed at showing the commitment devoted by the Italian Industrial Association and companies in favour of education, training and scholar orientation. The project involves secondary schools in the reference territories in order to raise students’ teachers’ and families’ awareness for the technical background required to support the national industrial network.

Walvoil (headquarters in via Adige in Reggio Emilia and production facility in Bibbiano) has hosted some 8th-grade students from ‘Fermi’ and ‘Fontanesi’ secondary schools in Reggio Emilia. The students, who were shortly asked about their future plans, and the teachers have been led through production and explained the various job opportunities in this field.
This was an opportunity to see how technical and literary skills are both essential to the development of the industries in the territory.
