Job Training for students - in Walvoil a valuable experience

In this first half of the year Walvoil has offered various traning opportunities. Up till now, in 2019 50 training internships have been activated through several modes:

  • ‘alternation School-Job’ for students coming from technical and humanities High Schools and Professional Institutes;
  • internships activated through post-diploma training bodies (ITS Maker);
  • Curricular University Internship with the opportunity to carry out the Degree Thesis;
  • Research Doctorate in collaboration with the Universities.

Here following some reflections of a few students who have experienced the internship in Walvoil.

GIULIA (student at Technical Institute specialising in International Relations for Marketing) – alternation school- job internship in the Sales area

‘’From this internship I bring home many positive things. I managed to get involved by confronting myself with a different reality from the school one and to put into practice the concepts learned in the school years by translating them into working skills.

In Walvoil, in a stimulating, professional environment open to comparison, I have learned above all how important the SPIRIT OF COLLABORATION is among colleagues. I feel I have gained a greater awareness of my abilities.’’

LORENZO (graduating Mechatronics Engineer) – Master’s candidate in the Technical Department

LUCA (graduating ITS Maker, Senior Technician in Mechatronic Systems) - curricular internship in the Technical Office

‘’During my internship in Walvoil Technical Office, I achieved a great deal of KNOWLEDGE about the technical drawing; I also understood the importance of work organization both in terms of timing and orderly planning of the activities to be carried out.

I also learned the importance of a correct and adequate language in the various situations that we face every day. I believe that this internship was very useful, thanks to the excellent company organization and the availability of the colleagues met. Definitely, a positive experience that I would recommend.’’
