Walvoil at the 12th International Fluid Power Conference (IFK) in Germany

Walvoil will take part also in the 12th International Fluid Power Conference (IFK), that will be held in the International Congress Center Dresden (ICC) on March 9-11, 2020.

The theme of the 12th IFK will be “Fluid Power – Future Technology!”.

The IFK is one of the world’s most significant scientific conferences on fluid power control technology and systems. It offers a common platform for the presentation and discussion of trends and innovations to manufacturers, users and scientists.

Walvoil will contribute to the debate through two papers:

‘’Optimization of Directional control valves through downstream compensation approach’’ mentioning in particular energy saving and prepared in cooperation with CNR-IMAMOTER and Federico II University of Naples;

‘’Orifices flow saturation in oil hydraulic applications’’ prepared in cooperation with CNR-IMAMOTER.

The objective of the paper is to study the phenomenon of flow saturation in hydraulic orifices to assess the formulation of the different critical cavitation numbers and cavitation indexes available from literature.
