Walvoil India is pleased to announce that it has sponsored the Amyga Foundation's construction of an Anganwadi school in Doddinduvadi village, Kollegala taluk, Chamarajanagar district, Karnataka, as a CSR project.
The new structure can accommodate more than 40 children.
Since 2019, the Amyga Foundation has been working with the Department of Women and Child Development to offer free Montessori-based English-medium education to more than 600 children throughout India, including 250 in Karnataka.
Two new School buildings have been constructed at two different locations with Walvoil’s CSR funds, while 17 existing ones have been renovated.
Mr. Rangan, the deputy CEO of Walvoil; Ms. Komathi, the general manager of the Amyga Foundation; and trustees Mrs. Lakshmi Ramamurthy and Mr. Dharamarajan were among those in attendance for the school building inauguration.
The principal guest for the function, Chamarajanagar Zilla Panchayat's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ms. Mona Roat, IAS, stated that Anganawadi Kendra will aid in the education and development of children and she thanked Walvoil India for supporting Amyga Foundation in its efforts to bring quality education to Chamarajanagar District.
