Walvoil part of "the factory of the future" opening wednesday 13 march 2019

The exhibition 'The Factory of the Future', Walvoil has collaborated on, has been inaugurated on Wednesday, March 13th. The exhibition, promoted by the Association of Friends of the Museum, is located at the Museum of Industrial Heritage in Bologna and aims to highlight the profound change that industry 4.0 is bringing to factories and workplaces, that are more and more interconnection nodes between the material and the digital worlds.

Visitors, mainly students and young people, will be accompanied through the innovative working environments of some companies present on the territory to show how the factories have nowadays been transformed, so as to attract new generations more aware of the strategic value of the industrial manufacturing.

The exhibition consists of a laboratory developed in five different technological isles dedicated to simulation, virtual reality, additive manufacturing, industrial automation and big data, a synthesis of the main Industry 4.0 technologies.

This permanent path will be constantly renewed to keep up with the needs of the factory of the future.

Walvoil, part of the Association of Friends of the Museum, has collaborated on the realization of the isle dedicated to ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING both with prototypes on display and with a video dedicated to the advantages of the technology and the innovations that this prospects in the hydraulic sector.
