In October, in collaboration with the Silvio D'Arzo High School in Montecchio Emilia (Reggio Emilia Province), we kicked off a project work, dedicated to the students of class 4^M of the Mechatronic Address, which will see them involved in a project on technical topics with a focus on the realization of a Mechatronic Drive of a Hydraulic Directional Valve.
The first meeting was held at the Institute and our HR team introduced the students to the project, presenting a path that aims to be an opportunity for them to be able to put into practice, through a laboratory mode, the technical subjects studied at school with integration of technical aspects present today in structured companies like Walvoil.
The whole project is designed in synergy between the world of school and the world of work to allow the students to have a more complete vision of a business reality, integrating the technical subjects scheduled in the school calendar with more in-depth notions on hydraulics, mechanics, software and automation, through the involvement of our technical experts.
On the morning of October 24, the second meeting was held at the Corte Tegge headquarters and we got into the thick of the project. Some of our Technical Managers accompanied the students on a training path through an initial theoretical part in the classroom followed later by a practical path inside our plants, with explanation of the functioning of the technologies present in our production departments and in the Innovation Center dedicated to R&D developments.
Many thanks to the School Management and Professors who made it possible for us to carry out this course, and special thanks to our Eng. Cervi Alessandro for the time and expertise he is providing as project leader of the course.
Thanks also to the other managers and technicians who spoke on October 24th, Davide Panciroli, Mirco Teneggi and Alessandro: your contribution to us is always extremely valuable!
The project will continue in the coming months and will see the students directly involved through group work that will allow them not only to stimulate their creativity and deepen and share technical skills, but also to develop relational, organizational and time management skills.
By the end of the school year, a plenary session will be organized and each working group will have the opportunity to present their papers.
Good work to all students involved!
