In a month and a half and for half a million Italian students it will be time to choose their high school. Walvoil continues to contribute and offer a glimpse of what may be the opportunities and technical professions in demand in the future.
Within the scope of the Industriamoci 2024 project, on 22 November Walvoil welcomed at its headquarters in Corte Tegge in Cavriago (RE), 56 3rd grade students from the Sandro Pertini middle school in Reggio Emilia.

The Industriamoci project, which has been running for 15 years in cooperation with Unindustria Reggio Emilia, aims at guiding middle school students towards the choice of a second grade school.
After a brief company presentation, the students had the opportunity to visit the production departments and how both new products and systems installed on customers' machines are tested in the new Innovation Centre. The discussion with the company's technicians and managers, who talked about the importance of the knowledge acquired during their studies, was fundamental.

The visit then ended with a quiz that tested the participants on the knowledge they had learnt during the morning, stimulating teamwork and a spirit of cooperation.
An essential aspect of these experiences is the opportunity for confrontation between different generations, which offers valuable insights to young people for their professional and personal growth.
